hey! I’m madi

I got my first video camera when I was 13, and it became an extension of my arm. No, seriously. I wouldn’t go anywhere without it. That video camera soon turned into a DSLR, then another DSLR, and thus began my love of capturing moments.

My love of capturing became a love of creating, as I studied film and screenwriting in college and graduate school, respectively. Storytelling remained an integral part of my process, and though writing has taken a backseat in my life, production has found its way to the forefront.

I’ve written for, produced, and directed several fantasy and mystery teleplays, including an HBO-sponsored virtual final season of Game of Thrones that currently has over 3.5 million collective views on YouTube and a television adaptation of a Stephen King short story, previously adapted from Sherlock Holmes.

Now, I find my home back behind the camera, creating and producing multimedia projects for non-profits and studios in the Northeast. I also freelance in both photography and videography passion projects, to continue my love of capturing the candid moments people often miss.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me teaching barre, drinking a bourbon cocktail, or laughing with friends.
